Between MeToo and MenToo: on sexual and gender vulnerabilities and their impact on male sexuality.
(The lecture was delivered on June 1, 2018 as part of a conference that dealt with sexuality and abuse in the MeToo era) This lecture deals with sexual abuse of men. The lecture touched on sexual trauma among boys, sex addiction and prostitution. In addition, the lecture sought a language for healthy male sexuality. How well do men know how to talk about their sexuality in relationships? And how many women are interested in learning about this complex world?

The story of the Israeli man
In August 2017, Dr. Oren Gur and I conducted a seminar on masculinity and fatherhood as part of our study program, 'Being a Man to Be a Father,' at Tel Aviv University's School of Social Work. The lecture explores the experiences of men in Israel and sheds light on their needs and experiences, including their childhood backgrounds.

"Serving Men" - An unconventional musical performance about masculinity and fatherhood.
Tamir Ashman shares his personal story as a 70s street-born son, intertwining it with his 20+ years of experience as a therapist for men. This unique show offers a rare glimpse into the world of men in relationships and fatherhood, accompanied by guitar and arrangements by music producer Ziv Goland.
Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. After the show, there is a 15-minute break followed by an optional open conversation with Tamir (around 30 minutes) to discuss the unique challenges of raising boys and the complexities of marriage.
Gender trauma among men
This lecture is given as part of a seminar that dealt with gender trauma at Tel Aviv University in May 2016. The lecture gives space to the heavy prices that boys pay in Israeli society.
